Christmas Eve in St Augustine

Dinner at Harry’s – a very nice Christmas gift from our Alexandria children and grandchildren.

Holiday lights at Plaza de la Constitucion.  Over one million lights decorate the Old City historic buildings at Christmas.

Evening Christmas service in the Plaza.

Trinity Episcopal Church.

Gaufres and Goods Restaurant off of Aviles Street, the oldest street in North America, dating back to the 1500’s.

O.C. White’s restaurant, in the historic General Worth
house, circa 1791.
Christmas Eve aboard Ermelind.  Lucky us!  Our
kids and grandkids have spoiled us!  In the right-hand corner of this photo is
a red box from Santa, the contents of which I am now using to update this blog.  We can
now post several pictures on one page, unlike before.  And, thanks to our Chicago
children and grandchildren, we will have lots more data on our monthly plan,
something we quickly discovered was much needed for staying in touch.

  1. Glad to see that St. A is living up to the enjoyment level you had hoped for. Now want to go there for the holidays and see it for ourselves. We visited only in the summer month. Where to next?
