We walked over to Pennekamp S.P. despite getting a phone call

informing us of the need to cancel the glass-bottomed boat tour

out to the coral reef – the winds were too high to take the boat out safely.

We were still able to paddle a kayak through the mangroves, went to their

aquarium, and relaxed by the bay.

Our plans to dinghy across the channel to the Tiki Bar with the big screen at Gilbert’s were quashed by rough

waters and high winds, so we took advantage of the marina’s WiFi and watched the game aboard Ermelind. 

We stayed warm, dry, and cheered for both teams (Carolina – Doug; Denver – Marty).
