| This is Mile Marker Zero, the end (or beginning) of US1 (the Overseas Highway), a 2,369 mile interstate which stretches from Maine to Key West. As a side note, I heard that the green Mile 0 sign has been trademarked by a local t-shirt shop owner — our friends in California and fans of Yosemite are familiar with these sorts of sad “shenanegans.” |

| In the upload of this picture, the glare may prevent you from seeing that Happy Hour actually runs for SEVEN hours here. Now, I will say that we’ve heard some great music at Schooner Wharf, and I guess now I can also say that we’ve never been to their Happy HOUR! Good thing, because we would then be in dire need of the sign below on the right (seen elsewhere, I must add). |
