This is a typical home along this stretch of the ICW.  The “No Wake, Please” signs must be meant for “the other guy”, and that’s quite apparent today on a busy Saturday morning.  There are some residents who monitor Channel 16 and scold those who are non-compliant, but when the boat’s going that fast, the radio can’t be heard anyway (assuming there’s one aboard and it’s actually turned on). 
We’ll be entering The Rockpile soon, always an exciting part of the journey.  We’ll head out the Little River Inlet on Monday if conditions are favorable, then come back in at the Cape Fear River.
