| This is a replica of the original Choptank River Lighthouse. Our dock for the night was a short walk from this lighthouse/museum. Cambridge has some beautiful historic homes, great restaurants, and much history. While we were glad to have spent a short time there, we would not return by boat – we feel the city has some work to do in maintaining the municipal marina. |

| Harriet Tubman was born into slavery in Dorchester County (where Cambridge is located). In 1849 she escaped, then risked her life to help others to freedom through the Underground Railroad. |
