Sunday, July 8, with plans for an early dinner at the Hilton’s rooftop bar, “Grain.”  First stop, however, is Dillard’s at the mall, to make a small purchase of  ~ahem~ undergarments because I am absolutely *done* doing laundry and am certainly not going to lug it all the way across this marina to the laundry room in this heat.  And, it’s a nice excuse to spend time in a beautiful air-conditioned place with upscale stores I remember so fondly from our time in CA.

Along with pretzel bites, duck tacos (me), big bang shrimp tacos (Doug), and black forest brownies, we enjoyed some excellent craft beer.  My favorite:  Big Wave from Hawaii.
