November 8, 2019 – we are finally aboard and have enough provisions to sink the ship! A cold night ahead (36 degrees), and we’ll begin our journey south on Saturday morning. An overnight in Morehead City on Saturday evening, then on to Mile Hammock where we’ll join our cruising buddies Diane, Bob, Jane, and Dave.

We’re looking forward to discovering new harbors and anchorages over the next seven months – Bahamas? … maybe!
Bon voyage! Safe travels & stay warm!

I assume the provisions include enough wine to sink the ship. 🍷🍷🍷

The captain says the waterline is low. Hope to connect somehow when we’re in FL – there IS some Silver Oak at the bottom of the hold. 🙂

Come join us! We’ll be on the water for seven months – surely there’s a way we can meet sometime, somewhere (hmmm I hear a song in that). Loved hearing from you, and we’ll try to keep the pix coming. m&d
