Always have a Plan B, and this worked out better than what might have been with Plan A, we suspect. We dropped anchor just before a pretty sunset and quiet evening, the only sound being the ocean waves on Baja Beach. Our landmarks were the docks at Ft. George Island State Park and what remains of the fort built in 1736, as well as the Ribault Club.
