I just love this bridge in Daytona Beach! For all this city is known for, all we did during this stop was laundry (8 loads), scrubbing the deck and hull (Cap’n. Doug), and cleaning both bathrooms (aka “heads”) (F.M. Marty).

From Daytona, we continued south to Titusville, where we took a mooring (12/30). This was the first day of this cruise that we spent wearing shorts and t-shirts!! We even had a quiet evening of flat-calm waters until around 2 a.m., when the wind picked up and temperatures dropped. Today, as we head to Cocoa, we are back to jeans and layers on top. ~ sigh ~

It IS a beautiful, sunny day, though, so we’re grateful for that! (The building way over on the horizon is part of the Kennedy Space Center. )
