There are now 22 cases of Coronavirus in all of Monroe County (population ~ 77K), none of them in Marathon. Perhaps the roadblocks into the Keys are having a positive effect. Ice deliveries have resumed at the marina, and our dock neighbors brought me a most wonderful surprise from their recent shopping trip.
The highlight of each day is our dinghy ride around 4 pm thru almost-sunset. Mother Nature can soothe the soul (except in a hurricane).
We check the news dozens of times per day – we can’t leave here until the virus levels off and marinas resume operation.
