It Keeps Getting More Beautiful!

This is our campsite on Crescent Lake.
The owners of this campground couldn’t be nicer – actually, everyone here is friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We’ll be here for three nights – a peaceful place to finally spend several days in one spot after traveling over 2,000 miles in (almost) two weeks.
This is a clump of snow in our campground, the only one we’ve seen up close. We have been informed, surprisingly, that polar bears have been sighted in this area.
A little bit of humor we’re seeing a lot of in Newfoundland. This building houses the rest rooms, showers, and laundry at the campground – very upscale, though one wouldn’t guess that from the plain facade.
Internet connections have been spotty in Newfoundland, but when you can’t even get Sirius, you know you’re in the wilderness! 🙂
