Spent 2 nights in Beaufort at the Downtown Marina – wanted to have electric so we could run our heater – down to low 40’s at night. Beaufort is interesting town with all the 19th century homes. Went to the Christmas celebration on Friday night…they closed the Main Street to traffic and many of the shops were serving wine and cookies.

Beaufort is a pretty little town, we stayed there years ago when Kathy's oldest graduated from Paris Island. We stayed out on base in some beautiful officer's qtrs that were embarrassingly cheap. Just be sure to pronounce Beaufort, SC properly when in SC 🙂
