Camachee Cove – 12/10 – 12/15

This is a great place to reprovision and shop (they have a courtesy car), run errands (an excellent West Marine is close by), get laundry done (they have large capacity machines, with TV and free Keurig coffee while you wait), visit the beach (Vilano Beach Bridge is right next to the marina), and celebrate the Christmas season (We were here for the “Night of Lights” and boat parade, which we watched from the Vilano Bridge). We also had some weather excitement when we were awakened by a tornado warning alarm on our phones at 4:30 a.m. Saturday morning – there was no damage at our marina, thankfully, just lots of wind, rain, and lightning.

Before the parade

We’ll move to a mooring at St. Augustine municipal marina on Sunday 12/15 and will be there until December 28. St. Augustine is a beautiful place to celebrate Christmas.

    1. We hope to be in Vero, but who knows what the weather (or breakage) might throw our way. πŸ™‚ Just so glad to be in warmer weather!
