The city marina and anchorage are quite crowded, with many boats rafted up. We anchored in Bethel Creek the first night, then a mooring became available – lucky! We’ve been wearing shorts, t-shirts, and flip-flops, but that will change tonight when a cold front comes in. We mailed all of our Christmas decorations and accessories to our friends in New Bern, who will drop them off inside our house; hopefully it won’t be long before we can do the same with our winter jackets.
