Georgia Update – 5/15

We left Jekyll Island at 6:30 this morning, and now we’re moving at a slower rate while we wait for the tide to rise so we can get through the Little Mud River, one of the shallowest spots in the ICW.

The coastal side of this state is full of little creeks and rivers that twist and turn. It’s not a good idea for the captain to get distracted by the scenery.
We’ll anchor for the next two nights, then we have reservations through next Wednesday at Windmill Harbour to wait out the upcoming bad weather

  3. You guys can’t get a break, can you? COVID and now Arthur! I am so glad you know your way around the coast so you can take whatever safety measures are needed.
Friends from church are RV’ers – and were stuck in the desert of Arizona for over 2 months because of COVID (at least with friends in another RV). I’m not sure which setting is more challenging.
Be safe -prayers are with you!
