Redbird Creek, GA – 5/16

A shorter-than-usual day for us, but we are now well positioned for getting through Hell Gate and the Savannah River tomorrow. We’ll be tucked into Windmill Harbour tomorrow afternoon, ahead of the upcoming weather.

This is a beautiful anchorage, with very friendly boaters passing by and/or stopping by, saying “Welcome to our creek” and asking, “Y’all need anything?” WOW – so heartwarming these days!

  1. We are watching Tropical storm ⛈ Arthur on Bay news 9 on an hourly bases. Looks like Carolinas are the target so good thing you are in Savannah River to hunker down. After all this isolation Art is feeling stormy but not hurricane force. I can’t believe you are texting me right now. Great minds think alike.

    1. We just signed up for a week in Hilton Head but probably won’t need that much time after Arthur blows through. Still shooting for the end of May or very early June. It’s up to the weather. You guys proceed with caution as Rochester opens up. xo
