Asheville & Pisgah National Forest (Oct. 8, 9)

Campsite at KOA West Asheville
The office was ready for Halloween!
Driving up toward Moore Cove Falls. Sliding Rock was closed due to previous flooding, downed trees, and dangerous conditions for visitors.
We reached this point on the Blue Ridge Parkway, then turned around to stop at the Cradle of Forestry
We walked the one-mile loop to see what life was like for the students of the Biltmore Forest School
Masks were required in all of the buildings.
Walking on to the next loop to see the 1914 Climax Logging Locomotive from the Carr Logging Company
