I’ve always wanted to go to Maine. When we lived in NY, we were close enough to get there at least once but never did. Doug went there around 50 years ago and has always wanted to go back. Finally, we’re on our way. On August 7, we left our North Carolina home in the care of friends, Dick and Sharon, who have been living in their camper since April (!), awaiting completion of their new home build. The four of us seem very pleased with this arrangement. 🙂
First stop, Fredericksburg. Looking at these pictures, you’d never know we’re minutes away from I-95. This is a charming campground – quiet, wooded, and nicely landscaped.

Thanks for sharing! Enjoy your travels & be safe!
