Wednesday was wet. 3.5 inches of rain fell. During a lull, we took a short drive to Bar Harbor. The fog reminds us of our California days.

Thursday was cloudy and cool, but the rain stopped (except for occasional drizzly moments). We drove to Acadia NP on the Schoodic Peninsula, stopping often on the road that parallels the coastline. (LOTS of pictures follow)

Even in bad weather you find breathtaking photos!

Nights have required a comforter. Just what we were looking forward to weeks ago in July’s North Carolina heat! Thank you for following our travels again.

Loving your photos of your stops in Maine. Bob and I took our two oldest grandkids to many of the same areas in the 90’s. Enjoy and be safe!💞

Thanks, Linda. Even the “easy” Sundew Trail requires watching one’s footing. 🙂 xo
