After a wonderful visit with the Gallup Family, we are now starting our trip home. Our time in Chicago went by much too quickly, but every minute there was full of fun and smiles. Chris is very busy in her new job, while Stu divides his work schedule between Chicago and St. Louis. Natalie has a full course load in her senior year plus works 15-20 hours per week at Panera. Isaac is very happy to be back in junior high after such a long time in virtual learning, and he’s active in the school band as well as Scouts.

Heading out of Chicago, we met our longtime friend, Carol, for breakfast and an attempt to catch up after two years apart due to Covid. It was so good to get together once again.

After an overnight stop in Crawfordsville, IN, we’re now back at the Kentucky Horse Park, where we camped last April (with snow) and attended the Elton John concert. This time, the weather is warm and sunny.
