Gros Morne National Park Days 1,2

Arriving at Gros Morne National Park on June 8, we made another campground change after driving into what looked like a perfectly lovely spot online, but in reality was desperately “in need of some work”; driving up the road in Rocky Harbour (with fingers crossed), we were able to get two side-by-side campsites in what has turned out to be a great location.

Sunset is late at this latitude. Right now, it occurs around 9:30 pm

Day #2 in Gros Morne, and we decided to start the day with a hike to Southeast Brook Falls.

Sharon likes stairs on a trail … my knees do not! 🙂

Below are some of the plants along the trails in Gros Morne

We will take a boat tour into this fjord later in our stay here.

  1. So the question is….did y’all go back for seconds on the Moose nose? 😉

Beautiful flowers and scenery…but the nose is still stuck in my morning coffee mind.

    1. We’ve been to restaurants that have moose on the menu (not the nose, though) – we haven’t been adventurous enough to try it, though. We’re told it’s very good. Stay tuned! 🙂 Hope your travels continue to be awesome. xo
