The Salt Lake City KOA is the largest we’ve stayed at in all of our years of camping (which go back to 1997, when we bought our first tent). There are over 1,300 campsites here, and it’s located in downtown-north on the light rail line. We took advantage of this and spent the day in and around Temple Square.

It contains offices, restaurants, and banquet/event rooms.We took a break from the heat and walked through this beautiful mall to find a place for lunch.We had delicious salads at Ivy and VarleyThe 2024 Youth Conference was in progress.Beautiful gardens are everywhere in Temple Square The Tabernacle, where the choir and organ rehearse. It, too, is undergoing renovations. This was our last stop before walking back to the light rail boarding platform
