Rodanthe: May 29-June 1, 2025
The first stop on our vacation in the mountains: Rodanthe, on Hatteras Island, in the Outer Banks of NC! Does this make sense? Yes, if you make a schedule change and put the end of your travels at the beginning. This turned out to be an excellent choice: mild weather, no bugs, and lower site rates! We’re in Rodanthe – with the Atlantic Ocean on one side of us and Pamlico Sound on the other.

You are blessed indeed, with that nice weather. I stayed in that same area in a tent many years ago. The wind blew the tent down during the night, which wasn’t a pleasant experience! Enjoy your travels!

Campsite along side the beach and ocean is perfect. Daily stresses just move out with each wave. Enjoy your travels dear friends! Travel safe!💞💞
