Vermont – 6/23/25

We’re in Smugglers Notch RV Village, and we couldn’t have had a warmer welcome from the staff (including dog Maple Bear, general manager :-).  We’re minutes away from Stowe, where we drove after settling into our campsite.  (I should add that the heat index today was 103 degrees!)  It was a quick trip, with a few pix below.

We passed these falls while driving the Smuggler’s Notch segment of Route 108.
Some of the slopes at Stowe
We hope to get a closer look tomorrow via the gondola.
We stopped in at the Alchemist Brewery on the recommendation of some folks at the campground.
It seems Hurricane Irene impacted far more than just New Bernians.  This is the second mention of Irene up here in the Northeast.
The production lines were right above my head.
It’s a solar powered brewery!

We’ll be here for two more nights.  There’s a lot to see while we’re here!
